CTV Boss (“CTV Boss,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a Connected TV advertising service operated by Comp-Share LLC. This Privacy Policy applies to ctvboss.com, app.ctvboss.com, and the services we provide (together, the “Services”). By using the Services or submitting information to us, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you apply to become an operator, request information, create an account, or buy a campaign, we collect details such as your name, email address, phone number, business name and website, the market or area you want to serve, and the content you provide for your ads. If you purchase a plan or campaign, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe); we receive confirmation and limited billing details but do not store full card numbers.

Information we collect automatically. When you visit our sites we automatically receive technical and usage data, including your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referring pages, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see below).

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate our sites, remember your preferences, understand how our pages are used, and measure and improve our advertising.

Meta Pixel. Our sites use the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel. It helps us measure the effectiveness of our ads, understand the actions people take on our sites, and show relevant ads to people who have visited us. The Pixel may collect information such as the pages you view, actions you take (for example submitting a form), and identifiers associated with your device or browser. This information is shared with Meta and handled under Meta’s data policies. You can control how Meta uses your activity for ads in your Facebook/Instagram Ad Preferences.

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Some features of our Services may not function properly without certain cookies.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to: respond to your inquiries and operator applications; set up and manage your account; create, deliver, and report on your advertising campaigns; process payments and payouts; communicate with you about the Services, including onboarding and follow-up emails; measure and improve our sites, products, and marketing; prevent fraud and misuse; and comply with our legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf, including payment processing (Stripe), email delivery (Resend), connected-TV and display ad delivery and measurement (Madhive), advertising and analytics (Meta), and website and application hosting (Netlify and Railway). These providers may process your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety reasons — when we believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of CTV Boss, our users, or others.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

Your advertising choices

You can opt out of interest-based advertising from many companies through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) and the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and you can adjust ad settings directly in your Facebook and Instagram accounts. You can also set your browser to limit or block cookies.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your account, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may request details about the personal information we have collected and may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — note that we do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-party links

Our sites may link to third-party websites and services that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Children’s privacy

Our Services are intended for business use by adults and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
